Back to ‘normality’ at Leonmoor Leonbergers!! Its all go here!
Storm has come into season, followed a couple of days later by Lightning. As usual, all the females get excited when one comes into season …. Must be the anticipation of something happening!
Poor old Thunder, gets very worked up cause the girls are in season, he will be a great stud when his time comes! Have to contain his enthusiasm on his walks in the moors at the moment as he has a tendency to mount anything that stands still for too long, then looks with bemusement when they have a go at him! Such a lovely lad he is. Finland follows him around doing what he does … and then he too runs off with his ears back and tail between his legs when the dogs have a go at him! … he hates confrontation does our cuddly Finland.
We have discovered that some of Alaska’s 2nd litter have come into season, so we shall keep a close eye on China & Austria, could be mad around here soon as they all have a tendency to bring each other in!
We have now added to our animal collection …. We have two guinea pigs, Fudge & Twix!
Did not realise what little characters they could have, absolutely gorgeous noisy little buggers! Our girls are fascinated with them and their noises; laying staring at them! ….. especially India who talks back to them and gets all excited. She acts like she does when she has puppies, all attentive and playful. Gives them a big wash with her tongue when they are out of the cage as well…. So comical!.....much to the disgust of the guinea pigs! Must try to get a picture of the washing one day!
