Xmas is here again, reminding us all just how quickly life is whizzing past!
We have discovered that we are doing our bit for the bird life in our garden this winter ….. the birds are all eating the dog food that we keep in bowls throughout the garden! We noticed that we have quite a selection visit the bowls everyday now, Magpies, Blackbirds, Thrushes, Blue Tits, Robins, Sparrows etc are all helping themselves to the dog food!
They fly onto the side of the bowl, pick up a kibble and then fly off! Our birds no longer sing in the garden …. They bark!
Our Leo’s don’t seem to mind, they just watch them and don’t bat an eyelid!
We only have a couple of weeks now before Alaska gives birth, followed a few days later by Storm.
Bev Reeves with Ozzie did their bit for the local dogs home by selling home made liver cakes out of the back of their cart as the picture below shows. Ozzie could not resist a swim beforehand as you can see!!
