Austria has given birth to 8 gorgeous pups! There are 2 boys and 6 girls. Mum and pups are fine. Austria decided that a nice early shift was in order, so she gave birth to the first pup at 2:30am! However, she had a relatively short labour for the following pups, finishing at 8:50am with the last pup.
As usual, as this is being written (11pm) she still refuses to leave them and go to the toilet! So dedicated it makes you proud. She has her food and water in the pen, with a couple of waiters busy fussing around for her every wish. She deserves it!
We have already had several picture updates of China’s litter, a few of which are shown on the right. A cracking picture of Rio has been sent in and deserved front page coverage!
