All the pups are doing fine and growing well. Have added the third video of them at just over 2 weeks old.
Most of the pups eyes are now open and they are staggering around the pen on four unsteady feet!
All had their first worming at 2 weeks old, no apparent problems although some did not put on so much weight as usual that day.
Our eldest son does puppy sentry duty while China feeds the pups, this provides the all important X-Box Live socialisation experience for the modern Leo puppy!!
Went to Crufts on Thursday to see the Leo’s in action in the ring and helped out for a while on the Discover Dogs stand. The stand was very busy and met a lot of people who already view our website which was nice!

The pups are now 9 days old and thriving. China is a marvellous mum …… we have been lucky with our last two girls being great mums.
Africa has to have a look into the pen each time she comes in, and on one occasion followed China into the pen to check out her puppies! China gave her a filthy look which was enough for Africa to get the message and back out gracefully. You get the impression that Africa would gladly look after the pups if only China would let her!
Sleep deprivation is the name of the game at the moment ….. sleeping in a 6ft x 6ft pen with 6 inch protruding anti-crush bars is not a fun place to sleep!
Woken to every unusual cry or movement, needing to do a head count to make sure mum is not laying on a pup (which is thankfully rare with China) then going back into a fitful sleep again after moving a pup from a dangerous position. … only to be woken again an hour later by another cry…….. but these little beauties are so worth it ….. best job in the world without a doubt. |

Early socialising is essential …. especially for the X-Box Live experience!!! |
